The chatelaine style South American brooch consists of a die-stamped silver oxen drawn covered wagon with figure, along with hanging silver charms comprising the traditional “bombilla” or straw, calabash cup, and tea kettle. 

It measures approximately 1&1/4 inches at its widest point, and hangs just over 2 inches from top of wagon to base of longest charm, has a hooded c-catch, weighs 7.0 grams, and is marked “800”.
